Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Drove back from LA to SF last night in pouring rain for about 6 out of 7 hour trip on highway 101. The Cayman handled great! The level of stablility even when it hits a shallow puddle of water is incredible. I was doing 75-85 in pouring rain without any prbs. The summer tires rear wheel drive configuration was something that I dread about in the rain, but if anyone of you have to make a long trip in the rain like I did. Do it with confidence! Your little croc can literally handle it. Cheers, -J-

POST 2Original post

The new sticky Michelin's helped a lot, I would guess. Glad that you had a safe trip and that even in the rain your Croc was making the ride in the rain confidence inspiring.

POST 3Original post

How was the view out the rear window? Do you have or would a rear wiper been helpful? thanks

POST 4Original post

Well in Manchester UK it must have rained 90% of the time since I picked up my car last December. I have no rear wipe and there is no problem. I now use Rainex on the front and rear screen and above 30 mph you dont need wipers front or back. Standing rain I dry off the rear with the rear demister. Works great. And 110+ this morning in the rain is a breeze. There is nothing that unsettles this car. Jack

It's that period of time when baseball isn't played. In your case, between the fall Classic and Spring Training.

POST 8Original post

I just did a 950 mile round trip this week and the cayman was awsome. On the way home I had to drive for three hours in a driving rain. A few thing I noticed about the croc. It feels wonderful on the rain slick roads with the stock 18in summer tires. I cruised at 85 with absolutely no hydro feel. The auto wipers function impecably. I never needed to speed them up or slow them down manually, when it gets harder they go faster.Really fast, in fact, they are thefastest wipers I have ever seen. I did have one minor problem. I had my shoes off and when I hit the brakes water would come in the door right by where you rest your left foot. The carpet was soaked by the time I stopped and stuffed some napkins in the door along the bottom front curve where the door meets the ledge. Anyone elsehad this happen?!?!?!

POST 9Original post

I guess I'm going to have to put the hose on the windshield to see if the rain sensors work. No rain here for so long I've forgotten about it.
