Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Porsche newbie here. Is the x51 package on a 2003 911 a deal breaker??? I have a buddy selling his 2003 911 with less than 10k miles. It has the x51 package on it. He wants $39K for it. Its flawless btw. Whatta ya think ?? Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

X51 is a good option. It is the more powerful engine tune with a better (louder/more aggressive) exhaust.

POST 3Original post

All depends on what you like. It would probably help if you'ld been shopping around for a while. Does it have limited slip and sport suspension?

POST 4Original post

For a price comparo, I paid $35k for a 2002 Targa with 15k miles with a CPO in November. It is like new.

POST 5Original post

I had a 40th Anniversary, which had the X51 option. I truly enjoyed driving it.

POST 7Original post

X50/51 packages are great if done at the factory. The price of having it done at the dealer is INSANE! Nothing wrong with a dealer doing it, if you have deep deep pockets. Would I recommend one for buying? Absolutely! What drawbacks would there be to getting a car with this option?
