Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Someone above mentioned it already, bumpsteer, I fitted the RSS bumpsteer kit to my car and couldn't believe the difference - well worth doing on a lowered car.

The other thing you’ll notice if the front is too low is bump steer (unless the steering rack has been adjusted), it’s a bit out of your way but Ray at West Tuning on Thruxton circuit is very knowledgable in setting these up.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

I know i need to maintain the 14mm back to front height difference, and i know ill need a full Geo setup after if i were to simply adjust the spring bases so im not going to do that.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi
Im pretty new here although ive had a 996 for 15 years, ive just changed from a Cabriolet to Turbo.
The car ive brought is really nice but its had Bilstein adjustables fitted and the front in my opinion is way to low.
Ive read a fair bit on the subject and am not claiming to know it all.
Im fairly certain the car has been setup as GT2 spec, but i cant be certain as the print outs i have dont have that detail on them its just what i was told. In any case i want to put a bit of height back onto the front. I know i need to maintain the 14mm back to front height difference, and i know ill need a full Geo setup after if i were to simply adjust the spring bases so im not going to do that.
Ive seen mentions of Car Gravity, but im in Kent and they are a long way from me and i want the car sorted before i goto Le Mans Classic in a few weeks.
Any suggestions for someone in Kent who might be able to help would be really much appreciated.
Ive seen a place called All Square near me if anyone has any experience of their services?
Ive attached a picture of the front but its not really on a flat road there.
Thanks Chris
Hi Chris
I'm also in Kent and have recently had Nitrons fitted to my 996 by

Nice chap called Sam is the owner and they'll be able to sort you out. He has a rather tasty 992 GT3RS and a GT4 RS

Good call on Tyrepoint. I've had good service from them previously. They can certainly do alignment but not sure if they'd get into ride height adjustment? Worth an ask though

I use Project Nine in Marden for various things in the past. They set up race cars so I'm sure they could help you out.
They did a great job on my 996C4 but that was 12 years ago,
True .......... and they did a good job on my 997T after some suspension bits were replaced a couple of years ago.
It's a bit of a trek around there from Kent , depending of course where in Kent you start from.
Never heard of All Square, but just had a look at the website and they seem to knowledgeable and focus on only doing suspension...which is what you need. Likewise Flacht Motorsport look decent.
The front suspension looks great! However the ride comfort will be very compromised.
