Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello all.
I'm using the 996 to commute for a couple of weeks while the daily is off the road. The existing cupholder that is below the two centre vents is next to useless and blocks the centre vents, so any recommendations for a decent aftermarket cupholder would be appreciated.
Thanks.
One on etsy that converts the ash tray.

Another on ebay down by the seat rail.

Another that fits to centre console trim.

Loads!
I have one of these -

Does a good job and cups are well held in place, but means the cubby lid is up when used
Well i have looked at them over the years and i think i would go for the seat rail version myself. The ash tray version is probably most convenient, but not great to look at.

The side vents are identical but just have the little holes in. So you might need to swap out the side vents as well and find some.
I managed to find a set of these original cup holders but I was told they're really hard to find, is that true?
They are still available on eBay but always worth giving your OPC a call as they are probably still available from Porsche ?
