Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Any recommendations on north east company to replace it as I don’t see the need to go to porsch as this won’t be covered under the approved used warranty.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi my drivers side ac condenser has took a stone chip and lost its f gas. Any recommendations on north east company to replace it as I don’t see the need to go to porsch as this won’t be covered under the approved used warranty.

POST 2Original post

Rob Beresford at Car Tech Prestige in Durham does a lot of high end car work inc Porsche for much NE trade, he will do a good job, personal service and won’t take your eyes out

POST 3Original post

It could be worth having a go yourself, it really is one of the easier diy jobs. Takes around an hour, maybe hour and a half if you are really taking your time. I would buy a Porsche condenser if you are under warranty still.

POST 4Original post

I did this job myself on my previous 911 and as above it really is an easy job, the hardest but as far as I remember was getting the screws in the indicator aperture that holds the front bumper on….. I bought Behr Hella condensers and a drier from Car parts 4 less and went to my OPC for O rings and he gave me some pag oil, lubed up the rings and changes everything myself then as if I timed it just right my mate had a bloke round to his farm to service his tractors and combine AC units and he did mine, I also fitted some mesh behind the opening in the bumper to try and deflect stones but mostly to prevent leaves from clogging everything up, that and the skeletal pigeon carcass that wedged under the off side condenser and rad, All that said…… I think if I did it again I’d go down the ally rad and matching condenser route that I think I’ve seen on one of Issymans posts. If it’s a keeper I’d do that, if it’s a quick fix the units aren’t expensive.
