Hi, I'm Kevan, new to owning a Porsche and this forum. Just bought a 996 targa Gen 2. The roof needs some TLC. I live in Wiltshire, just wondering if anyone knows a Porsche specialist know for dealing with targa roof systems in the South of England preferably.

Hi Grippy, Thanks for the swift reply. Yes I was given Precision Porsche, I haven’t heard of Northway Porsche but they are in Reading which is a lot closer to me. I was also referred to Hood Tech by another Porsche specialist who really rates them. But they are in Crew. Keep me posted mine opens but won’t close without the help of 2 people.

While I'm on here does anyone know if these small panels can be removed for repairs and paint. Or do they have to stay on?

Those trims are made of aluminium, and lever off, you just have to be careful, there are two pins on the trim that sit in 2 small grommets.
