I am clear my car (2002 C2 Coupe) should use Brown / White Springs.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just purchased some new srpings as part of a front suspension refresh.
I am clear my car (2002 C2 Coupe) should use Brown / White Springs.
My question is does anybody know what the third colour at top of spring means, my original is orange and newly supplied is green? Should I be concerned, google has let me down on relevance of top colour.
I think Ive worked it out, different size compensation plates with green requiring 6.5mm. Measuring the ones on mine right now they are 3mm so guess Im placing another order......
I assume the colour changed at some point from orange/red to white for 3mm.........
Some info on the colour coding here:

Hello everyone, I need your quick help. I'm currently rebuilding the dampers on my 996 FL convertible, year 02 with standard suspension. Now I've seen that the front springs are a bit rusty. So I ordered new ones from Rosepassion. If you look up the…

Are you replacing the struts? - thought mine were bad - yours are worse. I'm exploring options for replacement and right now based on cost it's more cost effective to buy the whole thing rather than all the bits separately - I'm struggling a bit like you though on exactly which ones work and which don't.
Yes new Bilstein B4. Everything on my car is original at the front, 24 years old. I did the rear 5 years ago and still looks as good as day I changed everything. Porsche parts prices are outrageous.
Dissimilar metal corrosion is dragging this job out, 2 days to get the strut pinch bolt out on one side, now waiting for the correct compensator plates from Rose Passion.
