Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Ok, things have probably changed during the last year or so but I bought a full set (6) from Porsche (!) directly for 700 eur so that makes about 120€ a piece.
Leading evidence: 'Replace during the last year or so' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace during the last year or so' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

While price matching I see LN has off brand injectors that they recommend, and have been tested by FSI.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

While working out a fuel trim issue on a new rebuild (with nickies) I decided to pull the plug and get new injectors. All Ive ever heard is to get Bosch. While price matching I see LN has off brand injectors that they recommend, and have been tested by FSI.
anyone have experience with these? Its very tempting since they are half the price.
I would expect that these would perform equal to the Bosch if LN is putting their reputation behind them. They may be made right along side the Bosch. I was lucky to get my mine about a year ago for $30 a piece.
China makes almost everything, quality depends on who is watching them build it and keeping track of that. Used to be yiu could tell the fake from the genuine part, not anymore at all. They all look the same with the same packaging,
Like someone stated earlier, if FSI is putting their name on it then I probably wouldnt think twice about getting them. Objectivity they were recently added to the catalogue so early adopters really havent had much time with them.
its crazy the price difference between some of the parts for the 996.1 and 996.2 the current price for the dot 1 injectors is still about 200 bucks.
but more importantly, your mug has given me a new life motto!!! I love it!
Yes, and I checked them at the authentication website too. It seems like the Chinese could fake the hologram and numbers too but I don't have a clue how holograms work...

I bought mine from LN over a year ago , BOSCH and made in china sealed and hologrammed.
Haven't installed I bought them "in case" just because of all the drama with euro parts availability the last couple years.
I missed the bus on ordering the German made 996.2 injectors for my '99 996.1. However I placed an order with Pelican, and 5 injectors arrived with the tamper-proof hologram sticker intact, but one was broken. (I contacted Pelican about this, hopefully they send me a replacement)
Naturally, I took the one out of the busted seal box to inspect it and was surprised to find it was blue. Anyone know if these are now supposed to be blue?
