I took it to Discount Tire and they installed new ones and they didn’t work.

2007 Cayman Base, 34k miles. Just bought the car and the left side shows no tire pressure readings on the computer. The error code says TPC Invalid. I took it to Discount Tire and they installed new ones and they didn’t work. Went to TPMS .com and bought 2 new OEM ones. Took it to the local German car mechanic and he installed them on the left side. They still dont work. Getting the same TPC Invalid code. I drove it 60 miles after the install and it kept saying System Learning. Then the TPC Invalid code appeared. Any suggestions as to what I do next ?

It could be the Porsche Tire Pressure Monitoring System Antenna , it goes inside the fender under plastic, mine it bad but I have not replaced it.

So I took it to a German car repair that had the correct computer to diagnose my car. And they said everything works except the sensors and wanted $1400 to replace them with OEM ones. Are there some out there that will work that are a little cheaper?

Ouch! Sounds like robbery without a weapon. I just replaced mine with these at a local tire and battery shop. But even these OEM replacements are only slightly more.

I just used whatever my tire shop offered - Autel , in my case. Works great, and they were like $40 installed (Town Fair Tire in CT, MA, etc) Don't overthink it... it's a TPMS sensor, nothing fancy.
