Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Since you mentioned fluid or mounts, have you had a chance to check the car's service history to see when the last PDK service was done?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I’ve had my 987.2 Cayman (base) for almost a month now. Recently whenever I am driving in first gear after the car has warmed up it begins to shake. It doesn’t do the shaking when it’s just been started up but after a couple minutes when the cars warmed up and I come to a complete stop and begin driving the car shakes up until 7-8mph then shifts into second and it’s okay. The car doesn’t shake in any other gears and drives smoothly for the most part besides that first gear. My cayman is a PDK transmission so I read that it could either need a fluid change for the pdk or a new engine mounts which is another common issue. I do not have any videos but I can try to get some next time i’m in it if that helps. Is there any other solutions to this problem or what’s the best way about going forward? Should I get l get it done at a secondary mechanic shop or at a porsche dealer?

POST 2Original post

Hey @Alexandre Vazquez , that shaking you're getting in first gear with the warm PDK sounds like a classic head-scratcher. Since you mentioned fluid or mounts, have you had a chance to check the car's service history to see when the last PDK service was done? Sharing that info might help folks here narrow down the possibilities for you.

POST 3Original post

I did not see any service done on the prk fluids. I am going to get it serviced/inspected at Escondido german autos. So hopefully i can get a clear response of what’s going on with it.
