Also I mentioned bore score and he said had been inspected recently

I've just seen that one myself. Different mileages in the advert... It states 61,151, then the description and pics state 53,932. If it is a manual C4S coupe with big ticket items done and a great maintenance history with 50/60K miles then £15,000 sounds too good to be true to me! I also went to look up the MOT history and the number plate is not recognised. Suspect these are old photos used for the ad, and its currently on a private reg. Still seems a bit too cheap to me, but possibly just a real bargain for someone....
Yes spoke with and was going to leave a deposit until reg issue claims has someone else who believed was a dealer, also is away till next Friday so by then any deposit could be gone and don’t know where you stand with getting back, stated would refund if car isn’t as stated on inspection. I sadly can’t afford £1500 quid as a gamble !
I just spoke to the owner as keen on it. Seems sus as also asked for £1500 deposit to hold the car, yet can't be viewed for a week? Any thoughts or anyone know the history of the car?
Did he offer to send his details or anything, did me, also claimed he had someone from Aberdeen interested. I said if can’t view till Friday I would guarantee to come and view etc wasn’t interest answer was leave it at that then ……. Stated previously on a private plate and that had been sold beginning of year . How did he leave it with you?
To be honest was pretty similar, it sounded highly sus to me because the car is unavailable to be viewed, yet when I said that I would leave a deposit he became very excited and was keen to proceed? Made me worried!
Yes he started when said I was interested that a guy in Aberdeen wanted it would pay asking and that he was calling back, so would let me know. I said I would pay a deposit if wanted, he chatted with wife and called back and said yes other bloke sounded like a dealer and wanted someone who would appreciate it. When said I wanted to know about reg etc. he said leave it there then, and moaned he had sent his address and bank details.
