The warranty that i have taken out was £720 but my dealer did inform me that it has gone down in price as i think it use to be £1000, so it may be the old warranty that did not cover the RMS, so i would check into this, and if not going to the right opc with goodwill there could be some saving?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

my brother bought a 00 cab tip private with premium plus porsche warranty fpsh i could not resist looking to see if rms was leaking and you guested it a little damp on the g box dont worry its covered phoned porsche at bow they they would ring back week later no call phoned them we are still not sure we will phone you ,never rang phoned them o its not covered but we will change it £1100 with discount when do you want it done they even asked if he was intrested in a new porsche thats when he told them what he thought of their c care and warranty he did phone a rept independant porsche garage £400 what do you do.

If it is a Porsche extended warranty then it should be covered. I would check into this. I have the extended warranty and this does cover the RMS. I am not sure what Premium plus means? May be it is a diffrent type of warranty. Some OPC i have heard are bad at getting back to people, but sadly this is the same with lots of business and should not be the case, I seam to be lucky at my OPC as they have been very good on that front. I know that RMS replacment is more expensive on a TIP but it does seam that £1100 is a lot shop about, i would have it done by a OPC they will give 2 years warranty on replacment of the seal. I am sure you shall get lots of points of few on this, just thought i would give you mine being in the same situation before.

Stuart,
From personal experience, OPC East London appear to charge an absolute premium for RMS replacement! They quoted me double what a couple of other OPC's quoted. The other OPC's quoted sub £600 and a leading indy quoted slighty over £400.
Needless to say, I'm not impressed with their poor customer service either.
