Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

In the absence of gt4 I'd say yes, looking at it, it appears as you adjust 'B' dip and main beam move up and down

they look like they manually adjust the level of the tray the light fits in ?

then remove the tray from the passenger side - fit new adjusters and then adjust the passenger headlight to fit the wing /bumper
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

ive now got the replacement porsche xenon factory headlights in my 996, all be it they are 997 headlights ! so what im wondering is how to manually adjust the angle of beam, they are great, however had a few flashes tonight, and noticed they are angled quite high on dip !
just wanted to know if anyone knew what tool and what hole to adjust the up down ?
thanks
Yep, buy as you've been good, I'll post the 996 version (Moss has 997 lamps).
No different method, but my OCD would never rest if I didn't post the correct image:
what about if.... your at your max adjustment on the headlight unit, can the whole headlight be adjusted by the tray it sits in> there appears to be 3 adjusters... they look like they manually adjust the level of the tray the light fits in ?
The table adjustment can be used to alter the beam angle, but take into account keeping a good fit (concentricity) of the lamp unit/rubbers to the wing aperture too.
old thread but figured its best to not keep raising new threads....
my passenger headlight tray is for some unknown reason too high there is a gap underneath the headlight - the adjusters are toast [rusty[ so I bought new ones 99763119402.
my plan is to find a wall or surface I can use a reference and record how the lights are now [ seem ok beam wise and have passed an mot]
remove the lights take some measurements, check on the thread count of the drivers side as guide, etc
then remove the tray from the passenger side - fit new adjusters and then adjust the passenger headlight to fit the wing /bumper
and then adjust the beam to the lines recorded on the wall
[I dont have access to a headlight machine]
anything that someone would do different if doing it DIY?
the bit I see as time consuming is the tray setting as I will I guess have to insert/remove the headlight several times to fine tune? not sure there is any 'shortcut' here ?
and a maint manual suggests something odd with the adjusters? with both being turned??
