There is noise from exhaust while I first start it, only for 2 seconds, than it never returns for whole day, while I check by lifting the car up I found that the catalytic is not making some noise because of oxygen sensor, which is loose from inside, I feel it is not the problem as the noise is bigger than this.

Hi guys, I am looking for new original Porsche radio for gt3, I find some "classic radio with pccm" are available for 996 but I am not sure if I can use them for gt3. Are there original scuff plate with lights available, if not what could be my options ? There is noise from exhaust while I first start it, only for 2 seconds, than it never returns for whole day, while I check by lifting the car up I found that the catalytic is not making some noise because of oxygen sensor, which is loose from inside, I feel it is not the problem as the noise is bigger than this. I have also ordered 2 new chain tensioners, just to be sure that it is not the problem. Thankyou

Look up mezger cold start rattle. It’s not an uncommon thing and it’s nothing to worry about.

I checked with Suncoast Parts and the 996 radio and GT3 radio are the same. You should be able to put a PCCM in place of the original, but I have heard of people who had trouble with it as a DIY. What scuff plate are you referring to?
