Has anyone fitted the wireless kit that autobahn engineering that replaces the cd holder?

I would say downsides are cost and the fact it’s wired and not wireless CarPlay and upsides are definitely OEM, uses all original harnesses including DAB aerial etc.

I want to buy a Porsche pccm for my car. I'd forgotten what it's like to drive a car without CarPlay. Is it best to buy from Porsche directly? I can see loads of them on e bay but I guess buying new is better. I presume Porsche still offer a discount on older car parts? I am quite often in Bristol so can go there easily
the OEM PCCM+ system is VERY expensive, better to take it to a local audio specialist who can install a better system and upgrade your speaker/amp/door insulation at the same time, for the same money
hi, it is pricey indeed. The car has PCM fitted. Am I correct in thinking that Mr12 volt fits a new touch screen in the existing PCM unit?

The PCCM upgrade is an expensive one and you can probably get a better replacement going via another manufacturer but for me the Porsche one looks better than the alternatives. If you can get a good price at your opc then I’d go with that but installation can be pricey. Shop around as some opc’s might do a better price
I love my PCCM+ having installed as soon as they came out. I like the fact it’s OEM, but it is expensive for what it is.

does anyone know if there is a way to get android auto working on a a PCCM unit? The 996 C4S I am buying has PCCM and it appears only the + version works with android
These units also appear to be identical to the ones available from Aliexpress for 1/4 of the price! Probably from the same factory, just without the 5p Porsche decal
PCCM is the single DIN and PCCM+ the double DIN version of Porsche CLASSIC Communication Management.
I didn't know this but google does indeed show PCCM only works with CarPlay and not Android Auto, confirmed by the spces on the Porsche site.
