Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I used a jig I had made to get it out, this is how I did it.
Leading evidence: 'Use jig i had made' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace so put me' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
I still have one to change so put me on the jig pre-order list.

Suggestion
I think using a blowtorch on these is always a good idea.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Will you be renting out this jig as well
The old sensor put up a bit of a fight. I wondered if a blow lamp would have melted the plastic - the hub must get pretty hot anyway dealing with brake heat.
I get a very occasional abs vibration through the pedal, usually when its been washed or hit a bump while on the brakes. I went to undo the front o/s sensor bolt and it wouldnt budge so think removal will involve a drill!
Good video - thanks for posting!
Hello
I love the Jig! I wonder if it fits a 993?
I know the early 993 speed sensors are metal bodied and the absolutely corrode in solidly, but the later ones are plastic. I would have thought the 996 ones would be plastic bodied. Im surprised they are so hard to get out.
I think using a blowtorch on these is always a good idea. Assuming you do not melt your brake lines etc. Use sensible heat shielding. Once the plastic is soft enough you can pull the very hard crystalline magnetic centre out.
Its a horrible job however you do it.
That jig is really great though! I would also be interested! Whoever made that up should look at doing one for the manifold bolts. Looks like a quality item.
Thanks for posting.

I'm in! Happy to pay in advance. I am fully convinced that if I don't support you doing this today, my sensor will fail tomorrow.
Great video. I love your "apprentices" slippers!
