I just installed the ROW M030 springs with KONI Actives in November.

Disclaimer: I replaced the RoW springs with Eibach Pro and Tarett GT3 rear sway to lower the car to GT3 height and dial out understeer on acceleration.

Suggestion
The shocks are different as well not sure how much this might change things but at least have that in mind.

OP - RoW use B6 (shorter piston travel) to match lower height RoW springs.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Greetings. First post here. Short question about the M030 suspension. Are all M030 parts other than the springs the same between US & ROW specs? I have a US M030 car that suits me fine but I would like to drop the car to ROW spec. Just the springs to do this or is there more to it?

OP - RoW use B6 (shorter piston travel) to match lower height RoW springs. wdb is half correct ref the bump stops. Fronts are the same, rears are model dependent. Compensator discs will, more or less, level the corners. There is a pretty large delta with RoW ride heights. Some cars will lower more than others. I had to use the discs to get both front and rear heights to match opposite side and preserve rake.
There are two types: 3 mm and 6.5 mm front. 0.5 mm and 4.0 mm rear.
You might be fine with B4, RoW spring combo. However, you will probably experience a pogo stick effect on the outside wheels with hard corner entry on uneven roads. I did, hated it and put B6’s on. Porsche should’ve specified the 996 RoW M030 as the only standard performance option everywhere. As far as stock suspensions go, it’s fantastic for sports car driving chores and very livable for daily duties.
Disclaimer: I replaced the RoW springs with Eibach Pro and Tarett GT3 rear sway to lower the car to GT3 height and dial out understeer on acceleration. No knock on the RoW springs, I just wanted a little stiffer ride setup.
Having just gone through this trying to get RoW M030 sway bars for my targa, I can say for a fact that it ain't that simple. For example PET shows different M030 front springs and swaybars for coupe, cabriolet, targa. (Some of the cabrio/targa parts are the same.) In some cases there are differences for 996.1 and .2 as well.
Rear swaybars are all over the place; there's a different part number for M030 coupe six-speed and tip for example. Then there are the 3 pages of rear springs, 10 of which have M030 in the "Model" column. (My earlier comment on bump stops only applies to the rears.)
But, yeah, I think that 10mm and 20mm drop part is pretty accurate across the board.
Too true. Paint dot hell, etc. Yet, OP already has US M030. A spring swap C2 for C2 isnt over complicated and the compensators are the same, sways the same. Likewise, a B4 to B6 change is also pretty straight forward.
Very interesting and informative!
Question, what issue of Pano was this in? Do you happen to know if they had a similar article regarding the X74 also?
I just installed the ROW M030 springs with KONI Actives in November. I really like the ride height and handling. I have a non-M030 front sway bar with a M030 rear sway bar for handling characteristics. BTW, Carnewal has good prices and quick shipping for these items.
I am not aware of any articles specifc to the X74 suspension, but here is a parts list I previously found while searching the topic. I cannot confirm if this list is the same for both .1 and .2 cars:
