have a 2005 boxster same front as a 996 Im told ,first time to change the headlamp how do you remove the headlamp housing have no owners or porsche manual for this model. thanks

Inside the trunk with the liner out you can find a place to insert a tool that should be in your tool kit. Lights slide out to the front as a complete unit. I'm sure you can find some kind of instructions online if you can't figure it out. You might find the manual in the spare tire cover or under your steering wheel. You can always youtube porsche 996 headlight and somebody's proably put something on there just like the front bumper removal to clean the radiators.
