I figured I had the optical cable "B" and "C" in the wrong port of the Dension so when I swapped both of those, I get the error message that say the "Amp and Navigation" not available BUT it DID NOT say CD changer was available like the first error message.

I am looking for some help in trying to get my Dension 500S installed correctly in my 997.1 TT. My stereo set up is Bose CD Changer No phone Initially, I had it set up in the trunk and working fine. However, I was experiencing sporadic static when streaming via BT and wanted to install it behind the PCM to shorten the range between my iPhone and the Dension unit. This is how I had it set up in the trunk and working fine. Optic "D" (which came from the car into the CD changer) was plugged into Optic "B" (which was plugged into the "car side" of side of the Dension unit). Note: Ignore the CD changer bypass cable... this was when I already moved the Dension unit behind the PCM Then "Optic C" was plugged into the actual CD changer in the car. With that set up, I had it working fine. Now I am trying to install it behind the PCM and can't get it to work. This is what I did. I took "Optic A" (which was originally plugged into the PCM) and plugged it into Optic "B" that is connected into the "Car side" port. Then I took Optic "C" from the Dension and connected it to the back of the PCM. I also connected the Optic "D" (that was coming from the car and originally connected to the CD changer) and plugged it into the Dension Bypass Cable. I resetted the Dension and when I turned on the car, I received this error message I figured I had the optical cable "B" and "C" in the wrong port of the Dension so when I swapped both of those, I get the error message that say the "Amp and Navigation" not available BUT it DID NOT say CD changer was available like the first error message. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Any help is appreciated. Edwin
