Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

They did however reset the warning light (which I guess might be as simple as briefly disconnecting the battery?) to see if it occurs again - so far it has not.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Airbag light now stays on after ignition. Any experience of this ? Is it likely to be an expensive repair, or just a visit to the garage for a reset ? Is it dangerous (ie is the airbag likely to explode in my face without a crash, or just not activate when I do crash) ? Migration info. Legacy thread was 15528

POST 2Original post

Danger Pillow... No one will want to tell you its not dangerous. Sometimes the light will come on if youve had a flat battery, a voltage drop or spike...best, safest and easiest just wheel along to an OPC, they will check and hopefully reset. Why wait, you might shunt it tomorrow..... Adrian Crawford www.911secrets.com www.performance2and4.co.uk Migration info. Legacy thread was 15574

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

For the record - Camtune plugged it into their analyser and suggested that the problem might be due to a faulty wiring loom (a common problem appatently). They did however reset the warning light (which I guess might be as simple as briefly disconnecting the battery?) to see if it occurs again - so far it has not. Migration info.
