So can I power up the car with the Immo out, the seat plugged in, and not trip any codes that will cost me a fortune to have reset by my local Porsche dealer.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I have sent my Immobilzer off to be looked at (I am praying it is bad). But I have a feeling it will be fine..... Just how my luck is. So I got out my Bently book and started looking at diagrams. My question is this. I know I was told NOT to put my key in the ignition or start the car if I removed the driver seat to remove the Immo. But I left the seat in the car. All I did was tilt it forward in place and remove the IMMO. So can I power up the car with the Immo out, the seat plugged in, and not trip any codes that will cost me a fortune to have reset by my local Porsche dealer. I would like to run some pin point tests on my harness.
