Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. I just want to check are there any other alternative part numbers which would be a direct replacement or aftermarket suppliers out there ?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all, I'm currently in the process of refreshing all the coolant hoses and auxiliary components and major service items as well as fixing a couple of oil leaks on my 2004 996 GT3. All the coolant hoses are showing the start of some small weeps and due to the two oil leaks I've decided the easiest option was to drop the engine and gearbox. At the moment I'm just looking up the various part numbers and prices. One of the items I want to change out are the two oil coolers which are on the engine and gearbox, the genuine Porsche items are looking very expensive compared to the standard models. The gearbox oil cooler, 9963070158A was coming in at £588 and the engine oil cooler, 99610702573, £527 from my local OPC with a large discount. I just want to check are there any other alternative part numbers which would be a direct replacement or aftermarket suppliers out there ? Who is the original manufacture of these for Porsche ?. I know there's not a lot of GT3's about but the oil coolers are common to both the GT and Turbo models. Thanks Jer.

POST 2Original post
