They then do a "free safety check" and look to get some work of that, following the model of how Kwik Fit etc.

In future when i purchase tyres for any of my cars i will check the date and month stamped on the tyre prior to them being fitted.

Time has come to replace my tyres amd wanted to get your input?
Most of my performance cars have Michelin PS4, are these even available for my car?

Yep, I have Michelin Pilot Sport 4s on my car - I think they are a popular choice.

the new Michelin Pilot Sport 5 is available in the correct size for the 996 Turbo yet? Could be wrong..
PS4S if you can find them - I assume the S is the same as normal turbo with 295 on the back?
The PS2 is still a decent tyre as well IMO and might be easier to find
Check the dates on the tyres.
Last month they sent me Pirelli 2022 dated tyres. Asda not interested in replying to my e mail complaint.
That's why they are cheaper.

I'll never use Asda tyres again.
Does that fall within the parameters date wise for shelf life on unfitted tyres..? Not condoning what they've done just curious but I'd be miffed to say the least.

is it still 225/40/18 or are are they a 235 ?
as you can get Michelin Pilot Sport 4S PS4S for the front 225 and rear 295, but the rears would be a week for delivery
the alternative would be Michelin Pilot Sport 2 in N4 spec, which are still active production by Michelin

Last time I just took the wheels up and got them to fit the news tyres to by pass the usual carry on. At the time, cheaper than Black Circles, Camskill etc.
Thinking about it, maybe it shouldn't be too surprising, their parts department is often cheaper than online, depending on what it is you're after.
So it's tyre time, I normally get my tyres from Camskill,
They have ps2 in 225/295, they also have ps2 in 235/315,
I've ran both the above before but thought I might try the ps4s this time.
Last time I looked they had ps4s in front 225 and rear 295 but are only showing the 295 now!
Tyre leader,black circles and Demon Tweeks are the same, no front ps4s in 225, quite a few other places are showing out of stock too, I did find some places where I could order them but they didn't actually say they were in stock.
Has anybody run both the ps2 and ps4s was there much difference, are they worth seeking out given the fronts don't seem to be in stock at the main places?
