Following someone's advice on a forum I have now glued on again around the edges of each badge using "E6000" multi-purpose glue.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Frustrated 996 C4S owner whose wheel centre caps keep going missing!
Are they being stolen? The centre caps remain but have lost three badges in last few week. Is the glue failing in the cold weather?! Really annoying…
Good chance they are copies and the glue is failing. I've had them peeling off in the past but just superglued them back and given the full cap a dose of lacquer.

I’d argue a new set (of copies) is cheaper than some decent glue and lacquer.
Just change annually like your oil.
So the plot thickens! Mine were a new OEM set from Porsche in High Wycombe. I thought I would check the last remaining badge tonight and it popped off with my finger nail! They had a tiny one cm double sided pad only to affix the badge! Rubbish! If yours are similar, I would get the super glue out!
I glued all 4 metal badges/crests on 4 weeks ago with epoxy (Araldite). After the cold few days we had I found one had just dropped off on the drive. Luckily not lost. Maybe certain glues don't enjoy freezing temps.
Following someone's advice on a forum I have now glued on again around the edges of each badge using "E6000" multi-purpose glue. Fingers crossed.
I had another idea which I may try if this doesn't work which is to put clear PPF shrink wrap over the entire cap. That way the badges are stuck on and you'd never know there was a wrap on there.
