Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
The 996 was always my dream car when I was in my late 30's and 40's, I test drove one, but ended up buying a BMW 335i coupe, because it was more practical, so the desire to own a 996 continued.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I must have missed that period when I was having a young family and Porsche's weren't even an option but the 964 was for me the best looking 911 always.
I wouldn't want one now , I couldn't afford it but I never understood why they were so revered.
I bought my 986 Boxster in 2011 (kids now teenagers) for £8.5k and if I could've stretched to a 996 I would but no chance, and I'm sure a 964 would've been £20k then.
The Boxster was brilliant and we used it for long trips into Europe
The 996 ticks all the boxes for me now.
The appreciating value is not important to me, but nice to know all the same. The 996 was always my dream car when I was in my late 30's and 40's, I test drove one, but ended up buying a BMW 335i coupe, because it was more practical, so the desire to own a 996 continued. Now I own one and it puts a smile on my face every time I look and drive it. I never drive with any music on, because I just love listening to that engine, it has real character, which I imagine you don't get in newer 911's.
Without sounding like some pious w*nker (which would be ironic as I swear like a sailor) I wouldn't wear that. It's lazy and everyone knows what you're "saying" including kids.
I love the sentiment and the graphic design however. I think "buy low, sell high" would work better as a tag line.
