You would need to check your countries import duties on auto parts (usually based on what country the part is manufactured in) to figure out the percentage, and then local taxes payable.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

As I search for parts for my 99 C4 build I came across this front bumper . It looks like a GT3 style but doesn't say that it is . I have an OEM GT3 bumper on my Boxster and this sure looks the same . Price is reasonable including shipping but the " fine print " indicates that duties and/or import fees may apply . Without knowing what those fees might be makes the purchase a gamble . So has anyone here purchased this bumper from this vendor ? Or seen one ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/274808269241?mkevt=1&mkcid=4&mkrid=711-163336-723841-9&mpt=61f80214df2eb202585bded3e1fcbf87&gdpr=&&ff18=mWeb&siteid=0&ipn=adm ain2&placement=551643

I have not bought that specific bumper, but over the years I have sourced parts for my cars many times from Latvia without any problems. Given the quoted $89 flat rate shipping cost, any extra costs in duties/taxes may well be worth it. You would need to check your countries import duties on auto parts (usually based on what country the part is manufactured in) to figure out the percentage, and then local taxes payable. Typically the transport company collects the duties/taxes, so you could ask the seller who they use for shipping then get a quote for the extras.

POST 3Original post

The first pic in the listing is a GT3 bumper for a 996.1. The actual black bumper it looks like they are selling seems to be GT3 996.2 style for the Mk I.

I didn't pick up on that but you are right. It's not a bad looking bumper .

POST 5Original post

Not sure if you noticed but this is a fiberglass bumper and not made of the same flexible materials as the OEM one.

That I did notice . While the price is attractive too many negatives for me to pull the trigger .

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
