Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seems like every turbo-bumper car has this. Mine may have gotten worse over the years. How do you fix this?

POST 2Original post

i would imagine it is caused by the bumper being made of plastic and either shrinking slightly over time from florida summer heat or sag over time due to gravity

POST 3Original post

Loosen the screws under the trunk lid. Lift up on the bumper cover and align, tighten the screws while lifting up. It works!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

oh man that's it? gonna go try right now

POST 6Original post

Well, you may need to do a bit more lift and tuck. Trust me this will work to get the alignment back. If you find and loosen all the screws holding the bumper cap on you will be able to move it around and get it aligned. Maybe this diagram will help you see where some of the anchor points are located. http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...section=802-00

POST 7Original post

This coming from a racer. I'm frankly ashamed at your post. j/k

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Whacking cones probably contributed lol. I am still a semi-pro detailer; my ideal motorsport is ConcoursCross.

I didn't know that. Now it makes more sense.

So you're the guy moonlighting as RS10 here asking all those crazy aero and track cooling questions. Now it all makes sense.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Haha must just be a coincidence- That's A Street #10. Since I'm in "street" class I can't do any aero or cooling mods anyways. She behaved well at my last VIR track day, too!
