I changed front wheel bearing removing the complete hub assembly then when reassembled lights cam straight on.

I had this issue, and fixed it by replacing the Mass air sensor.

Suggestion

If the light came on immediately after changing the sensor, it sounds like there is still something iffy with the connection, or it is the wrong, or faulty sensor.

Hello I have a 2001 facelift Carrera 4 and I'm having problems with th psm and abs light on all the time. I changed front wheel bearing removing the complete hub assembly then when reassembled lights cam straight on. The things I've done. Plugged in Porsche scanning tool and code 4025 front left wheel speed sensor wire. New speed sensor lloghts still on. Repaired wire harness lights still on. Any advice would be really helpful. Thank you. Gavin.

If you are confident the wiring is good and that you have the correct part fitted (they change during the manufacture period). It’s a long shot, but make sure that a simple steering angle calibration won’t fix it (I’ve seen this before). You’ll need a diagnostic tool to perform this.

If the light came on immediately after changing the sensor, it sounds like there is still something iffy with the connection, or it is the wrong, or faulty sensor. As Mark says, a failing MAF can cause the light to come on, but the brake pedal switch is another common culprit. (BTW, Welcome Mark!)
