Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

As you may have seen from my thread, moves are afoot to make my 996.2 4.1 targa somewhat oem+, and suspension changes are in the very near future.
Leading evidence: 'Replace are in the very' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace are in the very' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Evening all!
As you may have seen from my thread, moves are afoot to make my 996.2 4.1 targa somewhat oem+, and suspension changes are in the very near future.
Having bought Ohlins Road and Track, new too mounts and H&R arbs, it’s time to fit them and connect them together.
Stock drop links are 100mm rear and 199mm rear.
Ohlins R&T are 20mm lower than stock, and that level of drop will put preload on the arbs with the stock drop-links.
My research leads me to Superpro TRC10105 and TRC1025A, although these are on back-order with the manufacturer, who are based in Australia.
Does anybody have any alternative recommendations, either from personal use or from a wider breadth of experience?
Ideally I need them in the next week or so as the car is booked in for geo and weighting on 30th March.
Cheers!
Rich
Make your own.
Turnbuckles and Heim joints can be purchased from here :
Turnbuckle Linkages | UNF sizes | link bar
Internally Threaded Adjustable Link Bars , right and left hand opposite threaded linkage for suspension. Also ideal for gear linkages and anti roll bars links, imperial sized.

Misalignment spacers and rubber dust boots can also be purchased from McGill.
Cheaper than buying off the shelf model specific items.
How would the ARB be 'pre-loaded' with standard drop links and 20mm lowering?
The ARB is held in free moving bushes (i.e. not clamped rigidly in place) with spherical joints on the ARB and hub ends; the torsion is created by the differential movement of the two sides of the suspension. For a 20mm drop, standard items will still serve you OK. There is no different drop link for X029 or M030 sports suspension which have about 10mm different, and other 10mm will be minor. If you were dropping 30+mm then might be worth considering bringing the ARB back to the same angle verses the horizontal plane but no functional gain as such.
The current suspension setup is showing the droplinks to be at the edge of their useful limit - likely due to sag in the suspension. The sway bar ends are already out of line on that basis, with the ends beyond the neutral plane, making them more sensitive to movement in the vertical plane.
I’d rather do it right
When i got my suspension from Nitron they supplied new adjustable drop links. Not cheap separately though:
