Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I charged main battery (new Yuasa battery 2 months ago) and then reconnected and ran a 4amp trickle on the connected battery a few days later to actively charge the alarm siren sensor too.

Next step is double click on remote to deactivate interior sensor and if that is not the issue remove siren and check condition and also tilt sensor for water ingress but thought the code might pinpoint the issue.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone have a full list of Porsche alarm codes? I have an alarm issue and my scanner pulls 020021 (and from memory 22) and can clear them but I want to know what they relate to. I am considering Durametric but thought if there is a full list of error codes I should be able to simply cross reference rather than buy another scanner. I already have two. Many thanks

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

By way of background the issue started last week. I had been for a walk (everything fine before) but when I unlocked the car and then drove off the siren started. I thought it could be a low siren battery issue so went for a long drive to give it chance to charge. Pulled in at a petrol station locked the set and it went off again when I walked away. Did the same when I arrived home. I understand it can be either the siren battery is toast or circuit corroded, the tilt sensor can be water damaged or a door or bonnet micro switch etc or the interior sensor. I charged main battery (new Yuasa battery 2 months ago) and then reconnected and ran a 4amp trickle on the connected battery a few days later to actively charge the alarm siren sensor too. Same thing happened. Even went to same petrol station and it started when I walked away. Next step is double click on remote to deactivate interior sensor and if that is not the issue remove siren and check condition and also tilt sensor for water ingress but thought the code might pinpoint the issue. The other thing of note is when I get the code I have to reset it via my scanner otherwise the immobiliser will not allow the car to start and even when it does start I have temporary low power probably because immobiliser interrupts fuel delivery

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

There must be a couple of alarm issues. The first being the siren sounding (but allows me to drive) but pulls no code. The second being the code which seems to be immobiliser related and does not allow me to drive.
