Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hi Does anyone have a printout of a fast road geometry setup on a 987.2 running 19” wheels, PASM & H&R springs. Looking to have mine setup and if I have the settings then a local geo place can set it up rather than taking to a Porsche specialist

POST 2Original post

Have them set it to Cayman R specs....Should be able to get that with the H&R's on there. I set my Base with R springs to R specs. Love it.

POST 3Original post

Didn't you need change control arms to get that type of negative camber?

POST 4Original post

Get as much negative camber - front and rear - as you can get. Set front toe to 0.0" and rear toe with a very small amount of toe in. That's about it until you start throwing parts at it: LCAs F&R, bump steer adjustable toe links F&R, adjustable drop links F&R, thrust control arms F&R, rear camber plate locks. Maybe a Pedro bar on rear.

POST 5Original post

-2 Degrees of camber F/R, 0 degrees Toe front and .25 degrees of toe in rear.

POST 6Original post

point of reference, my 987.1 lowered 1.5" with PSS9 coilovers, can get -1.8 front camber with OEM control arms, but set to -1.2 otherwise inner tire wear will happen over time on straight hwy driving. Always zero toe in front. For rear since car lowered 1.5", camber is set to min of -2.2 which is fine, but can go to -2.8 with OEM control arms. Agree rear toe to be slightly toed in. To minimize inner tire wear (front & rear) and reduce understeer, I run 32-33 psi front and 34-35 psi rear (door jam for 18 tires is 30/37). Per above settings, I can get about 20k miles on 4S tires .

POST 7Original post

What are the Cayman R specs? I had everything upgraded to Cayman R (987.1S) I think he said he set it: F Castor 5 left 4 right (RHD. Left side of the road) Toe 0 R Camber .5 2 toe in -2 camber F&R

POST 9Original post

All I could get was -1.0 front & -2.2 rear with stock control arms & Eibach Pro-Kit. Not the best for the track but it works well for my daily driver. I live in the foothills and enjoy the twisties. A bit too much initial understeer but tire pressure and driving technique adjustments fixed most of that. I'm still learning my car working with it. I'm not racing it ...
