This is not a probability of success.

For what it's worth, last year, I ended up hunting down the supplier of the lights I wanted (JTEC) in Taiwan and ordered a set directly from them.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hello all! I'm looking for a set of Cayman S LED taillights. I had a set of early ones, sold them, but I'm hoping someone is selling theirs. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

What do mean by "early ones"? The 987.1 didn't come with factory LED taillights, so is there a specific type of aftermarket lights you're looking for? Aftermarket LED retrofits are getting harder to find - most of the sites I tried to order some from showed "out of stock", and when I inquired about availability, it turns out that meant "no longer available" For what it's worth, last year, I ended up hunting down the supplier of the lights I wanted (JTEC) in Taiwan and ordered a set directly from them. Thankfully, they still make them and sell directly to customers worldwide. The quality is better than OEM, and they've dramatically improved the look of my car:

POST 3Original post

Thanks, the early ones I had were from DEPO. Do you have a contact for the ones you bought? I've contacted Spyder who says some LEDS will be in stock in July. Thanks!!

The DEPO ones aren't manufactured anymore from what I understand (except maybe in the black/clear color combo if you can find them). The ones in your photo are like mine (manufactured by JTEC). They offer a few different styles. I chose the DP104-CR (clear/red), which is the one shown in all of the photos above. They also have a smoked version called the DP104-SR (smoked/red). Here's a link to their website: J.TEC INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD. www.jtec.com.tw To talk to someone, you can e-mail Jacob at Jtec. He's super responsive and helpful and will coordinate the entire ordering process: [email removed] Check out their pricing, as you may find it cheaper than ordering from a US based vendor. You're basically cutting out the middleman markup. Even with Fedex 3 day shipping and tariffs, I ended up better off buying direct.

POST 6Original post

Thanks I've asked Jacob for pricing etc. thank you!!!

There are very few "in stock" lights anywhere. eBay is ridiculous - some asking $1500-2500 for a set of LEDs . Vivid Racing expects stock in mid/July. Amazon are all drop shipped from Taiwan or China. Best I have found is either Amazon with a late July delivery or JTEC direct from Taiwan. The lights want are all about $700 delivered. Some LEDs get as low as $480 but they are very old designs.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
