Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Looking to change the spark plugs on my 996 turbo x50 and two options are on offer from Bosch.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all,
Looking to change the spark plugs on my 996 turbo x50 and two options are on offer from Bosch. First is the FR6 LDC and second is the Super 4 FR 56. Does anybody have any preferences or recommendations? I'm leaning towards the Super 4 as its marketed as the superior option and apparently better performing. Any advice is welcome. Thanks, John
Come on guys and girls... surely someone on here has ordered spark plugs before. Essentially one is twin pronged whilst the other has four prongs. I’d just be interested to know if anybody on the forum has had experience with either? Thanks all, John.
Maybe try NGK, I have no personal experience of them re. Porsche but do with other makes ... all positive.

Not much high performance Porsche experience with supafours but I started using them 35 yrs ago in my 1st Rover Vitesse SD1 which was quite highly tuned for the day-changed around 25K miles & came out looking like new-then in V6 Honda engined Vitesses, although not then listed but found out from a good contact-just as good -then in the Turbo Vitesse Sport-4 cyl-same good results (again not listed for the model)-our 964 ,I did not service myself but supplied the service pack bought from OPC & the plugs were lookalike Supafours again never any problems & have continued to use them in both our 924S's-again they last 25K miles + & come out like new with no sign of gas leakage via the insulator.
Thanks for your comments. I may very well give the super 4 sparks a try in that case. I’ll feedback my experience with them once sorted in the next couple of weeks. Thanks, John.
