Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Here is a picture of Viper Green (old Porsche color) on a 986 (RUF). It would be killer on the Cayman.

POST 2Original post

Someone on PPBB mocked up some Cayman's in other colors including a green but when I went back to get the pics for our image gallery here all but 2 links were broken. I did get the photoshop file he made for it, but I don't have photoshop so I can't do anything with it, if someone has it I could put the file online for others to make some color combos like this one and we could see what the car would look like.

POST 3Original post

If this is what you mean, they are on Rennteam too. Here you go: http://www.rennteam.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=120236&page=0&fpart=all&vc=1 Edited by - rfakhri on 09/07/2005 02:47:39 AM

POST 4Original post

Does anyone know if there will be a sligh performance gain on getting a Cayman outside the UK? My UK Porsche Brochure says that the 0 - 60 is 5.4 whilst other (nonUK)brochuresstate it does it in 5.1.... any idea? Maybe this is something to do with emmissions??? cheers!

POST 5Original post

It was the phtoshop in white along with the hassle of paint to sample that convinced me to go with the white/black combination.

POST 6Original post

Sorry, I'd have to pass on Viper Green.....looks pretty cool on the old 911s but doesn't seem to fit the new models as well IMO.

POST 7Original post

If someone could grab those photoshops from Rennteam and post here in the Misc colors section that would be cool! Otherwise I'll get around to doing it, just very busy today!

POST 9Original post

Check out this link for Atlas Grey under fluroscent lighting, looks quite a bit different than under the sun or even reduced lighting like on a cloudy day. http://www.planet-9.com/pic_display.asp?id=52

POST 10Original post

I like the silver seatbelts. That is a nice color

POST 11Original post

Yeah I did the interior in two-tone black/grey did black mats on grey carpet and grey/silver belts. I think there is an interior shot in my personal photo album in the images section.

POST 12Original post

I looked at every color about 200 times or so(no I'm not joking here!) and always gravitated back to Atlas.......it looks so different in many lights, but my favorite is bright sunlight and at night under lights. It can look a little boring on cloudy days but that's its only downfall IMO. I wish I could get the Silver-Grey seat belts with it on the Cayman......but they will be added later though.

POST 13Original post

Not sure it would be my choice, but I guess it would be something like this. Tonse Edited by - tonser on 09/12/2005 12:18:04 PM
