When I fitted 200 cel cats last year even with the old cats on the bench at a local exhaust specialist he couldn't remove the lambdas so I purchased 4 new Bosch one's from Design911.

Suggestion

As a plus the sensors are probably original so a change is no bad thing really, didn’t attempt to remove beyond the split socket method so not damaged and still work should i need to refit original cats (MOT test next week to find out!)

Suggestion

Remove bumper & Cats, those open sided Cat removal sockets just prised open so cut off the top of the sensors and use a deep impact socket, heat, breaker bar with extension and get someone to stand on the Cat as you try to crank it out.

Mine were all completely rusted in and had to use a heat gun, breaker bar and a scaffold pole!

I bought mine from Design911, but not sure of the make. If they are rusted in, I would suggest its impossible to get them out with cats still on car. Mine were all completely rusted in and had to use a heat gun, breaker bar and a scaffold pole!

I replaced all of mine, not easy. Remove bumper & Cats, those open sided Cat removal sockets just prised open so cut off the top of the sensors and use a deep impact socket, heat, breaker bar with extension and get someone to stand on the Cat as you try to crank it out. I rounded off the Lambda threads and needed to tap the Cat threads to accept new ones. Make a note of the cable routing beforehand. Enjoy.

If you can don’t scrimp on the sensors, for the extra £££ I’d go for the Bosch, I replaced all mine with genuine Bosch ones.
