Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi team, Removing the alternator to replace the temporary oil fill pipe fix with a proper new pipe and got unexpectedly wet. Seems I've snapped a coolant pipe union. Its mounted on a little bracket attached to the power steering pump and connects two pieces of quite thin coolant pipe together. I've dug out the crumbly plastic from the snapped piece inside the upper tube, so assume I just need to replace the plastic union piece. Its a 2003 C2 can anyone help with a part number for the plastic union, and possibly also the short coolant pipe connected to the bottom of it as I may replace that too whilst I am in there. I've looked on D911 but struggling to identify the part. Thanks all!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you. I uploaded the pic to Gemini and asked it for a part number and it actually got the answer correct and told me to get an ally one! I've ordered from D911 as they had it in stock and say they can deliver tomorrow.... now back to alternator-wrestling
