Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I couldnt find a single ding, scratch, or blemish and checked all the boxes for how my previous two 996s always felt to drive.

nice looking car, I gave my 996 to my son( the lead mechanic on the Penske Porsche 963 # 6 car) as I have had major foot and ankle problems which precluded my using a manual.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

After selling my second 996.1 in the fall of 22 (and regrettably buying a C6) I find myself once again back behind the wheel of a 996.1.
This time I found a near mint condition 01 with 41,000 miles, always garaged here in So Cal. I couldnt find a single ding, scratch, or blemish and checked all the boxes for how my previous two 996s always felt to drive.
I think it has the hollow turbo twists. Been meaning to confirm whether the description Lt 18 turbo style wheels means theyre the hollow ones. I felt the back of the wheel and it doesnt have the concavity of my last 996s 18s.

Thats an amazing coincidence lol. Not my son im sure. He loves his and I would take a targa as well. I do really like my early 996.1 though. To bad I cant have 4 or 5 of them 😀
nice looking car, I gave my 996 to my son( the lead mechanic on the Penske Porsche 963 # 6 car) as I have had major foot and ankle problems which precluded my using a manual. I have a beautiful 981 BS, with a PDK that I really love but I miss my 996!
