Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

can anyone recommend or not recommend the Brembo brake disc/pads kits available on line ? considerably cheaper than the OE parts .

POST 2Original post

We use Brembo friction material almost exclusively. They are the OE supplier for some models. The quality of the discs and pads is very high. The coating in front of the disc face is good too, so it won’t go rusty as quickly. Remember to buy damping plates and renew the caliper bolts ... and to open up the bleed nipple when you push the pads back (things that DIY-ers sometimes overlook, apologies if this isnt you). Kind Regards Lee

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Lee that's good info.
