Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a '99 Cab with 77,000 miles (I bought the car with 69,000). On the car right now are the Potenza's SO2's with the rears showing signs of cracking with wear on the inboard sides (normal wear pattern??). Time for rears now with the front 's probably a year from now. Any suggestions? Continue with the Potenza's? Switch to the Potenza 960 Pole Postion, PZero's or Continentals? The car is driven on weekends with some spirit! No track time. Being high performance tires what should I expect for mileage on a set, 10-12,000 miles? Let me know what you think??? Thanks Bob

POST 2Original post

It is normal. What is not normal is Sam's coming in with low offers in near 300 ea for some brands. Tire Rack same policy. Its like a large margin is the normal.Conti's will go and go and they do stick, some dealers will tell you 12k, I can get more many brands. I have used Pirelli on NA cars. It is really in the suspension. The cars grip (I have recently seen a GT3 loose grip but that is a track story). You can go with what you have. The ones you mention, too. And there are brands 235 18 being sold for under 100 wholesale, just not easy to locate. Drive them more Bring it to Sebring, park her in the Porsche corral or in Green Park if you prefer. Looking to take my Targa next week.
