Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 2Original post

Switch the ignition on, then off, but do not remove the key. This will prevent the alarm siren sounding when you remove the battery terminals. Leaving the key in after switching the ignition off gives the siren the feed it needs to stop this happening. Switching off also reduces the load to a minimun for when you re-connect. Here is a document showing what you have to reset after re-connecting the battery: https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=770120 Bear in mind that PCM2 or CDR32's don't have a user entry radio code, and will work straight away.
