Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well, I changed out the factory H7 low beam head light bulbs (I don't have the Bi-Xenon headlights) and after living with them for about 5 days and nights, here is what I've found. I purchased them for about $85 so they weren't cheap. The installation wasn't cheap, but, that aside, they are definitely worth the price they cost and do improve your low beam head light lightening by about 20%, which, when taken into account that I live in an area just 30 miles from NYC that has no street or road lamps is a considerable improvement. Even though the manufacturer claims they are almost as good as Bi-Xenons, they're not but they are a marked improvement over the stock bulbs and they absolutely provide a whiter light then the factory bulbs. All in all, if you have passed the magic age of 40 when everything in the human body goes South, including your vision, invest the money in a set of them, you wouldn't be sorry. The only drawback that I've found is that neither PIAA or any other high line bulb manufacturer seems to make an H9 replacement for the Halogen 'High Beam' for the our car. I am continuing to search for a better bulb then the factory H9,which is made by Philips as are the low beam bulbs. As the saying goes, 'Try it, You'll Like it' Regards, riamga

Before you buy any more of those, especially if they advertise getting 85 watts for 55 watts or something like that, I would strongly urge you to read here http://danielsternlighting.com/tech/bulbs/superwhite/superwhite.html I would check here for the best H7s http://danielsternlighting.com/products/products.html Significanty cheaper than PIAAs and a better product. Note that the Osram Silverstars there are NOT the US Silverstars but the European version. You could always just get the 65w Osrams instead of the standard 55w bulbs. ~$26. I would also add that I was looking for better H7 and went to a speedshop and the manager specifically said dont waste your money on PIAAs, you will see less than before. Ended up with Phillips Vision Plus (about $45/pair). Daniel Stern also has the H9s for $12. Edited by - chows4us on 06/25/2006 3:42:45 PM
