Suggestion

True, Porsche got slammed also on the Diesel Cayenne..they had a program that would "detect emission testing and ran an altered program" during emission testing that would revert back when not being tested...( that also increaed fuel mileage) ...a big No No..

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 2Original post

It was an 1/8th mile drag instead of the claimed 1/4-mile race, which is a pretty big difference. I havent watched the video yet, but online, folks are trying to determine exactly which model 911 was used. It appears it was a manual-trans car, but what it a base 911, an S, T, or something else? Comparing a beast-mode, fastest version of the truck should probably not be compared with a lower end model, right?

POST 3Original post

Very weird that the company that lies about everything lied again about something trivial like this.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The video implies it was a new 911 T manual based on how the car jerked slightly when shifting gears. The video analysis is well done IMO.

POST 5Original post

I saw that Tesla video recently,,,, was it an overall lie?...yes......IS the Tesla Cyber Truck acceleration impressive??? ........my yes !! ..... there is no reason to lie..... This guy does a remarkable job of breaking it down mathematically/scientifically.. and trying to relay the message in common since fashion also...

Fact. I had to leave a Tesla group because I was bantering about the ****ty mileage my wife's MYP gets and nothing close to the EPA claims. Every time you posted it the Tesla Fanboys would go bezerk. Now look what happened this week. All their EPA mileages got adjusted down. Their range claims are a joke.

The irony is the EV world isnt governed at the same scrutiny as ICE. Didnt VW and Mercedes get heavily fined for fudging the MPG rating on their diesel cars? So if its impossible to get the advertised range from an EV why not the same judgment?

POST 8Original post

Quotes source post: 19215310

Because they are not only righteous, earth saving EVs, but also American made. No way GM gets held to the same light as VW and Merc did either.

POST 11Original post

The green outline of the beetle for the 911 and triangle for the cyber truck on the white board made me laugh.

Not only that, but cheating and faking seems to be a common problem in the automotive world, not limited to those that have gotten caught.

POST 14Original post

I have a few friends who are Tesla cultists, I'll try and show them this video and see what they say...

POST 15Original post

The Cybertruck is fugly..it looks like it was designed by a 6 year old.... I'll stick with my 996, thanks.

Are you sure Tesla are made in America? Collecting Addicts podcast the other day mentioned most UK Tesla are made in China. Just like all that Trump merch those nutbars mistake for American patriotism. Made. In. China. While they flood our countries with fentanyl, in league with the Mexican cartels. And while their citizens attend college here in order to steal any info and research they possibly can. I know so OT. This thread kinda is anyway 😞

POST 17Original post

A distraction from the EV idiocracy. The real lie? That the looming government mandate that prevents manufacturers from selling vehicles with an internal combustion engine and forcing them to switch to EVs is going to save the planet. Its amusing that this same guy made a video series explaining how EVs are better for the environment. Of course it was sponsored by Formula E. Theres a reason Tesla is the most valuable automaker in the world. Call your local congressperson and perhaps theyll explain why. Or maybe Engineering Explained will do a video now that he feels betrayed by Elon.

Yes, that's the real lie, and the real truth is that the US gov. has the technology to obsolete the ICE AND the EV's, and we have 150 Trillion $$$ worth in oil reserves.. But controlling the people/narrative is their main goal, and they do it in many ways but financially is the main way nowadays, controlling the $$ and wealth of the peoples by inflation and keeping the masses dependent .. Saying we will destroy the planet, is like saying ants will destroy your yard....we may can kill each other off , but Mother Nature will always win in the end...
