Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I assume the lip that broke out holds the camber adjustment of the eccentric bolt, so it’s better to replace now than find out I needed to replace it later.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261027T061840Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Found out the hard way to make sure the eccentric bolt doesnt spin while removing the rear control arm, luckily I found a used side section. How painful is it going to be swapping it out?

POST 2Original post

Its around 10 -12 bolts and can easily be done with the car on the ground. It all demends in if the old bolts come out easily. What cracked in that one is not structrual and can be cleaned up and would be fine to keep on the car but its food to be safe then sorry.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I assume the lip that broke out holds the camber adjustment of the eccentric bolt, so it’s better to replace now than find out I needed to replace it later. Every bolt I’ve removed has been a pain so I’m sure the rest will be just as difficult. I just hope I don’t break anything else along the way.

POST 4Original post

If it's a street driven car I would align it, make sure the eccentric is up against inner lip that's still there. Then mark the front edge and check periodically for movement. If you've already bought the subframe then you might as well drop it and replace.
