and take the M10 1.5mm captive nut off the back of the cup and replace with a M10 bolt with a 1.25 pitch nut as all manufacturers have these , I have exhausted all the options buying wise (I think)that say there adjustable links fit but don’t when I receive them !!??as they always have a 1.25mm pitch on the thread.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Picture for illustration only (random pic off eBay) I have just had Yellow speed coil overs fitted on my 2002 C4 and finding rear adjustable drop links with a 1.5mm thread pitch is proving impossible!! All the ones I’m buying and returning have a 1.25 pitch so will not screw in to the location as the circled bit of the pic below. At the moment my only option seems to be take the back shockers off !! and take the M10 1.5mm captive nut off the back of the cup and replace with a M10 bolt with a 1.25 pitch nut as all manufacturers have these , I have exhausted all the options buying wise (I think)that say there adjustable links fit but don’t when I receive them !!??as they always have a 1.25mm pitch on the thread. Suggestions appreciated and thanks in advance
