Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Imangine a car with HRE adjustible springs. How is the ride If you adjust the suspension up the stock ride height? I would imagine much stiffer, but ???...

POST 2Original post

HRE coilovers? Do you mean H&R? I don't believe the H&R coilovers have the adjustability to get back up to stock height -- pretty sure the maximum height on those is a 1" drop.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My seller said my car has "HRE adjustable springs". I just assumed that they were coil-overs. Sounds like I need an education here.

POST 5Original post

Seller is probably confused. HRE is known for making wheels, not suspension parts. It's likely the seller meant H&R. H&R manufactures a set of lowering springs, and adjustable coilovers for the 996.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Do the H&R adjustible spring incorporate the original shocks / struts?

POST 7Original post

Quotes source post: 18640919

No, they are a stand alone set (ie: coil over front struts/springs and rear shocks/springs).

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you everyone, so that is probably what he has. So how is the ride effected if the height is raised to the max height?
