Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T174436Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can anyone help me find someone to do a PPI in the LA area? Looking at a 2002 911 cab with 40k miles, 1 owner dealer bought from the Pacific Auction last month. Thanks

POST 2Original post

Go to Beverly Hills Porsche or Downtown LA Porsche.

POST 3Original post

Though dated post, I'll add my two cents. Mike Schatz at Kunden Sport in Camarillo did an excellent PPI for me on my 2002 911.

POST 4Original post

I would NOT take it to any of those two dealers. Take it to Callas Rennsport in Torrance.

POST 6Original post

too bad vBulletin sucks in this regard. The data point still is accurate though

Why not? Can you tell us more? I'm looking at a few 996's in the LA area but I'm up in San Francisco so I may end up trying to coordinate PPIs before I bother flying down for a look.

POST 8Original post

Try Dan Aspesi at The Speed Gallery, Studio City. I use him for my 2001 Cab....

POST 9Original post

38K miles on my '02 C2 - what price are they asking (if you don't mind me asking)?

The price point is no longer relevant as it was over 3 years ago.
