This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
It's probably an SNP member of the Scottish parliament so will already be cloned as that's the sort of tricks these vermin get up to
Leading evidence: 'snp member of the scottish parliament' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'snp member of the scottish parliament' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

oh my goodness, so how exactly do you take your car out in public ? and all of the other thousands of car spotted on a daily basis
it's a car spotted thread, we are a Porsche site....
@Skoosh1970
there is no issue with your post, as almost in all occasions owners say hi, yes that's me
As mentioned it’s hardly a crime showing a car in a photo with the reg plate…..world’s gone mad. If this was anything like an issue collecting cars, pistonheads and anyone selling a car wouldn’t show a plate
Hi all, I think you're missing a key point here. If a person of a criminal mind in the South of the country wanted to clone a Porsche, where better to look for a plate to clone the same car and colour than a Porsche forum and look for cars 300 miles away! You wouldn't clone a car in your locality as it doesn't work if the two cars are in the same area, so driving around showing a plate is a minor cloning risk.
Those who want to protect themselves from potential cloning DO cover up their number plates when advertising or displaying photographs online. Plates are usually covered up when cars are on car transporters for the same reason! Cars being transported long distances from one location to another area are vulnerable to cloning.
In summary, there is no doubt that on-line photos are a good, easy source of material for cloners, accessable from an easy chair at home, I guess what is debatable is the amount of cloning going on. The cloning risk is quite low, so the car on the OP's photo is likely to get away with it!
go onto Autotrader, search for cars for sale at the other end of the country
pics from car shows and events
not missing the key point as that is not the key point
I thought the main reason they are covered is to stop ANPR cameras picking them up so avoiding hassle with being untaxed / SORN or Mot expired, Dartford crossing is also pretty good for auto charging for a car thats on a trailer.
