Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

It is possible to have a normal access by moving down the engine like I did to change the coolant tank ?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi guys,
I need to change the scavenge pump in my car C4S Tiptro 2003.
I have the part in red who is broken and I'm loosing a little oil.
This is the one at left near the rear seat.
I have no space to work there...
It is possible to have a normal access by moving down the engine like I did to change the coolant tank ?
I just need to change the cover of the pump. A friend gave me the lid (like you can see in attchmt).
Thank guys
you can lower the engine down on the rear mounts with a trolley jack, and it should come off by releasing the bolts whilst pulling it from the casing at the same time if there's not enough room to get the bolts out they stay in the housing and it all comes off together.
So…
I got the bolts but….
The scavenge pump stay stuck… i’m 3mm short…
Any idea ?
Because I also wanted to give up and put the pump back in, but it won't fit anymore…
i tried this night by up the engine by the right but to much oil has leaked… so I stopped.
I think maybe I can move the engine just far enough back but I don’t know how to do :/
Or like the back of the car (tires) are on wood to have it higher at the back maybe put the car flat on the ground should be better.
Or last option remove a part of the suspension system to have access.
I just need maybe 1cm
Thank you for your help
