Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello guys
How does one tackle this these days, both front and rear nipples have been previously snapped on the drivers side
Attempt the repair or is it worth buying some 2nd hand calipers?

Good luck trying to get it out. I had no joy so ended up machining a bigger hole and making a Stainless Steel insert. Tricky unless you have the right kit to do it as the insert has to be exactly central to the 45 degree sealing face inside the caliper that the nipple clamps against. Once the inserts were installed, I fit Stainless Steel nipples, so it's Stainless on Stainless and shouldn't fuse together.
Not exactly engineering but you could bash a torques socket in the hole and heat it up red hot and they come out (mostly) not always , but you have to repaint the caliper and fit new seals which you would anyway. Goes off to hide somewhere
My indie did it for me, he put the car in the yard and took the calipers off and sent them out. There are a few companies that repair calipers. I've used this guy to free up a nipple on one car.

If you dont have the equipment then send them out. I used BCS Automotive in Nottingham. They do a postal service. Get them refurbed at the same time - come back looking like new. Probs lots of other places doing the same thing too.
I also had to drill mine out and repair it with a helicoil. There is very little torque required to keep these in as the tapered end does the sealing. It's help up fine for 2 years.
