After unlocking my car, either by key fob button or key in door lock I lift the handle but cannot open the door, the door glass drops but nothing else happens. The passenger door opens and I can reach across and open the drivers door from inside using the internal handle. Before I start removing the door card etc I would appricate any advice or indication of a possible cause. Thanks in advance John

Hi John, I had a similar problem on my Cayman S, took it to my local OPC who quickly sorted it out by spraying a lubricate in the mechanism, so now once a year I spray both door locks on my Porsches and the problem has never raised its head again. Hope this helps its worth a try first ? regards Pete

Just try and push the door really hard shut, it maybe the latch/micro switch hasnt engaged
